The production of solid-state pharmaceutical products (e.g. paracetamol) cannot be realised without understanding their solid-state properties. In my PhD project, computational-based methods were used to predict and reproduce these properties. This makes justifying the selection of the optimal form and particle for drug development more robust.

Sep 2011 - Jul 2013
Master Student in Computational Chemistry
During the study computational-based research was performed to understand the catalytic mechanisms of enzymes, particularly the GHMP kinase family. Understanding the mechanisms is important for drug design and further bio-engineering.

Sep 2007 - Jul 2011
Bachelor Student
ECUST was originally established with a focus on chemical technology. The major of applied chemistry (fine chemicals) focuses on the fundamental theory in chemistry, and its application to the fine chemical industry.
